Coming of the Son of Man

Matthew 24

29 - Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 - And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 - And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The above verses describe the Second Coming of our Lord to the earth at the end of the Great Tribulation. This event is also known as the Battle of Armageddon. His return will be accompanied by signs in the heaven that will shake the whole world.

The sun and moon will cease to give light, stars will fall, and the powers of heaven will be shaken. I sure am glad that believers, the church or the Bride, will be with Him when this event takes place.

All who are not ready to met Him in death or the rapture are gambling with thier eternal souls, because the Bible describes some dark days in this world's future. You do not have to take a chance if you know that you are not saved.

Ephesians 2

8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 - Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 10

9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

ABI Class Schedule

Hey there I just want to let everyone know what the ABI class schedule will be until the New Year.

• We will have class this week at 6:30 p.m. -bring a friend!
• We will not have class November 6, 2007, due to Jubilee By The Sea.
• November 13, 2007, we will have class-make sure you come!
• November 20, 2007, this will be our Last Class until the New Year, make sure you are there, not only for the great class time, but we will be explaining when the new semester will begin, and when the sign-ups will start as well.

Mid-week Update

Fires in California and flooding in New Orleans with severe storms in between. Russia and Iran have forged a historic treaty which is a direct fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 & 39. Joel Rosenberg's research into the political history between Russian and Persia (Iran) and he has concluded the current treaty is there first that has been recorded.

Walid Shoebat points out that the countries of the Middle East that have an open hostility towards Israel have one thing in common. They are all Muslim, and they hate Israel.

I am reminded of the promises recorded in Genesis 12:3 - And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

I want to be one who receives God's blessings. I also believe that God has blessed America, because of our support for Israel. We must continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Our Lord referred to signs like these as "the beginning of sorrows," birth pains, in Matthew 24:8. Hal Lindsey believes that they have begun. If so, they will become more intense and frequent.

Maine Middle School to Offer the Pill
Oct 17, 10:20 PM (ET)PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Pupils at a city middle school will be able to get birth control pills and patches at their student health center after the local school board approved the proposal Wednesday evening.
The plan, offered by city health officials, makes King Middle School the first middle school in Maine to make a full range of contraception available to students in grades 6 through 8, according to the state Department of Health and Human Services.
There are no national figures on how many middle schools, where most students range in age from 11 to 13, provide such services.
"It's very rare that middle schools do this," said Divya Mohan, a spokeswoman for the National Assembly on School-Based Health Care.
The Portland School Committee voted 5-2 for the measure.

An international organization promoting families says California families have no choice but to abandon the public school system after Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a new "anti-discrimination" bill into law, effectively making terms like "mom" and dad" obsolete.
As WND has reported, some family advocates in California already had come to the same conclusion as that reached now by the World Congress of Families.
World Congress of Families Global Coordinator Allan Carlson said the measure, SB 777, is "a blatant attack on the natural family orchestrated by the alternative-lifestyles lobby."
The exodus call had been issued just one day earlier by Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families. "We're calling upon every California parent to pull their child out of California's public school system," he told WND.
"The so-called 'public schools' are no longer a safe emotional environment for children. Under the new law, schoolchildren as young as kindergarten will be sexually indoctrinated and introduced to homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality, over the protests of parents, teachers and even school districts," he said.
The law at issue went through the California legislature as SB 777, and now bans in school texts and activities any discriminatory bias against those who have chosen alternative sexual lifestyles, Meredith Turney, legislative liaison for Capitol Resource Institute, said.

Drug-Resistant Staph Germ's Toll Is Higher Than Thought

A dangerous germ that has been spreading around the country causes more life-threatening infections than public health authorities had thought and is killing more people in the United States each year than the AIDS virus, federal health officials reported yesterday.
The microbe, a strain of a once innocuous staph bacterium that has become invulnerable to first-line antibiotics, is responsible for more than 94,000 serious infections and nearly 19,000 deaths each year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention calculated.
Although mounting evidence shows that the infection is becoming more common, the estimate published today in the Journal of the American Medical Association is the first national assessment of the toll from the insidious pathogen, officials said.
"This is a significant public health problem. We should be very worried," said Scott K. Fridkin, a medical epidemiologist at the CDC.

6 -Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

Headlines coming out of Jerusalem indicate that the Jews are now willing to divide Jerusalem in order to have a peace with the Palentinians. It appears that the Jewish leadership are seeking peace at any price.

But, if history teachings them anything they should know that pulling out of Lebanon, Gaza, and the other concessions they have made have proven to be disasters.

It appears they are desperately looking for a world leader who will promise the peace. It sure looks as if the stage is set for the fulfillment of :

Daniel 9:
