The news is being dominated with the election, but a number of interesting things are taking place behind the scenes.

1. The Russian invasion of Georgia has far reaching prophetical significance, and many believe there is a direct link to Ezekiel 38 & 39.
2. President Bush and our European allies are move naval assets into the Persian Gulf. This is causing some to believe Iran's nuclear bomb facilities are going to be destroyed.
3. Secretary Rice has just arrived in Israel to make one more attempt at getting a peace deal.
4. Russia has agreed to sell missiles to Syria.
5. Russia has been active in supporting and helping arm the enemies of Israel.
6. We will soon know if the Mark Biltz's study on the Blood Moon points to the pre-tribulation rapture.
7. We also must keep an eye on the Wicked Weather!

Today sure would be a good day to fly!

How We Lost Our Way?

I am sure I am not the only one who has grown tired of this political season, but it is one of the prices we pay for our freedoms. Our real challenge is learning what politicians really believe, or if they have any real convictions on the issues that make up the moral foundation of our nation.

Who should establish our community morality? Hollywood, rock stars, network TV, MTV, Playboy, and the porn publishers are just a few of the outlets that have already received social acceptance. Anyone who sounds a warning is attacked by the media for being narrow, intolerant, ignorant, or worse.

What is TRUTH? Mankind has focused on questioning the cornerstone of the foundation of society. If, there is no real right or wrong each individual is free to do his or her own thing.

Jerusalem Watch

Psalms 122

6 - Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. 7 - Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. 8 - For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. 9 - Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

World events have become so numerous, and they have so dominated the headlines that the news out of the Middle East and especially Jerusalem have been pushed off of the front page. When news is reported the media focuses on the event of the day failing to present the big picture.

If Israel acts to protect her citizens, most of the media outlets portray their actions as an acts of aggression. This is especially true of CNN and the BBC. The peace efforts by both the Bush Administration and the EU to create the two state solution have lead both to close their eyes to the real intentions of the militants who dominate the politics of the Middle East.

This militancy is lead primarily by the Iranians who finance, train, and openly support the terrorist who's chief desire is the destruction of Israel and the US. It is a fatal mistake for Israel to lose sight of the real intentions of their enemies. You can find their agenda in Psalms 83.

Is the invasion of Georgia by Russia the prelude to Ezekiel's prophecy in verses 38 & 39? It sure looks like the Bear is moving South towards Israel.

News Upate

Praise the Lord for great meetings in Rio Bravo, Mexico and Mission, Texas. On Tuesday, I taught the National Pastors with Frontier Baptist Mission on Christ in the Feast Days and The Blood Moon in the 7 pm service. Then, on Wednesday Night I was with Pastor Noe Mendoza at the Betania Baptist Church in Mission, Texas.

Yesterday, I learn from the BBC that Russia had invaded Georgia, and the death toll is already in the thousands. Joel Rosenberg presented a strong case in his best seller Epicenter stating the future motives of Putin. It sure looks as if Rosenberg was right on target. Of course, Russia's real target Israel.

It sure looks as if the balance of power in the Middle East is about to shift again. The Iranians are determined to build a nuclear bomb, which will certainly be aimed at Israel.

We must look up! It sure would be a good day to fly!
